MALAYSIA: RAJA MUDA (REGENT) OF PERLIS STATE CYCLES FOR 20KM, VISITS POOR IN THAILAND’S TRANG PROVINCE

TRANG, Thailand– The Raja Muda (Regent) of Malaysia’s Perlis state Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail Sunday cycled for 20 kilometres to visit the poor as well as several schools in the Trang province, here.

The programme organised by the Perlis state Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs) was also joined in by his son, Syed Sirajuddin Areeb Putra Jamalullail.

About 50 participants joined in the cycle, including MAIPs chief executive officer Mohd Nazim Mohd Noor and Perlis state Police chief Azisman Alias.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin also presented donations to the poor and schools along the route.

The event was held in conjunction with MAIPs’ goodwill visit to Trang for three days beginning Friday, in cooperation with the Islamic religious councils of the six Andaman provinces of Thailand.
