Government Always Ensures Schools Are Conducive For Learning – Uggah

DEBAK: Run-down, dilapidated and poor schools, especially in rural areas, will continue to receive aid to ensure that children study in an environment that is conducive for learning.

In stating this, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said the Barisan Nasional government was always finding the best way to ensure that school needs were met.

The government provides facilities to help schools in managing education and students’ needs. Therefore, we can equip our children with useful knowledge for a brighter future. Poverty is not an excuse for not sending children to school.

Encourage them to stay in the dorm because full facilities are provided for them like sufficient food and study areas, he said when launching the Dewan Suria at SK Suri Debak yesterday.

He urged parents not to pamper or spoil their children by giving in to their demands like not wanting to live in dormitories.

At the event, he said he would do his best in helping the school in its request for a new building using IBS and others.
