MALAYSIA: DPM WAN AZIZAH GRATEFUL FOR MUHYIDDIN’S SUCCESSFUL SURGERY
KUALA LUMPUR, Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has expressed gratitude that Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin had safely underwent a surgery to remove a tumor in his pancreas.
In a statement yesterday, Wan Azizah said she was informed that Muhyiddin was now in stable condition and would be on leave for followup treatment starting today and was expected to resume work in a month’s time.
Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad will carry out the duties of the Home Minister during his (Muhyiddin) absence.
I and all Malaysians are praying for Tan Sri Muhyiddin’s speedy recovery, she said
