Cambodia Detainees: Sarawak PKR adviser urges leaders to visit victims’ families
KUCHING, Sarawak Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) adviser, Datuk Seri Hafsah Harun, called on state and central government leaders to visit family members of the 47 Malaysians detained in Cambodia, to help ease their sorrows.
She said she was making arrangements for Deputy Prime Minister Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail to meet the victims’ families to give them moral support.
“I also urge Malaysians not to make speculations and spread inaccurate information over the issue on social media, as it might jeopardise the resumption of negotiations between the Malaysian government and the Cambodian government in bringing home all the detainees.
