Corruption: MACC detains former Johor MP

JOHOR BAHRU, The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) detained a former Member of Parliament with the title Datuk in the state today in connection to two cases of bribery involving cash and land worth RM230,000.

According to sources, the 56-year-old man was also a former member of the board of directors for the Federal Land Development Authority ( FELDA).

He was detained at the MACC headquarters office in Putrajaya at 12.30 pm and will probably be brought to the Johor Bahru Sessions Court tomorrow to be charged.
