Drug lab raided a second time, pistol, bomb and bullets found
BUKIT MERTAJAM, A house believed to be a drug laboratory which had been raided by police here last December, was raided once again yesterday, leading to the discovery of two pistols, a hand grenade and 349 live bullets.
Seberang Perai Tengah District Police chief ACP Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid today said, however, no arrests were made in the 2.30 pm raid at the two-storey house.
“In the raid this time, the police involved a tracking dog unit which led to the discovery of a grenade hidden in a headboard, before the bomb disposal unit removed live explosive from the scene,” he said here.
