WSAC succeeds in providing platform for sharing arts and culture ideas

KUALA LUMPUR, The 8th World Summit on Arts and Culture (WSAC) drew its curtain today with successful participation of 434 delegates from 81 countries in the four-day event.

National Culture and Arts Department (JKKN) director-general Tan Sri Norliza Rofli said the mass participation of foreign delegates proved that the summit had successfully become a recognised platform for them to share ideas and problems in arts and culture.

She said through discussions, each participant was able to learn something to improve their arts and culture industry in their respective countries.
