Traffic slow on major highways this afternoon

KUALA LUMPUR, The traffic flows on major highways are reported to be slow moving as at 4.30 pm today.

PLUS Malaysia Berhad spokesman, when contacted, said that the southbound traffic flow was slow moving from Changkat Jering to Bukit Berapit and Kuala Kangsar to Jelapang.

The traffic is also slow moving from Ipoh North to Simpang Pulai lay-by and from Gopeng to Sungkai, he said.

On the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), the traffic flow is also reported to be slow moving from Subang to Shah Alam and from Kota Damansara to Damansara.

Meanwhile, Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman said the traffic on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway was building up before the Gombak toll plaza heading to the city centre.
