Sabah front liners shown appreciation through 696 boxes of kuih raya

As Aidilfitri is around the corner, Sabah Chief Minister, Datuk Hajiji Noor, gave out 696 boxes of kuih raya to security and medical front liners in the state today.

“We greatly appreciate the selfless service of each security and medical personnel who puts their life on the line to curb the spread of COVID-19 in this land below the wind which we love,” he said during the handover ceremony.

The kuih raya is a gift from 29 agencies, government-linked companies, ministries, women’s organisations and non-governmental organisations in Sabah.

It was given to 12 teams and agencies like the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM), Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Malaysian Army (TDM), Eastern Sabah Security Command (ESSCOM), Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (APMM), Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM) and Sabah Health Department.
