PPRS to Field Candidates in All 73 Sabah State Election Seats


Kota kinabalu: Parti Perpaduan Rakyat Sabah (PPRS) has announced its intention to contest all 73 seats in the forthcoming Sabah state election. The party’s president, Datuk Seri Mohd Arshad Abdul Mualap, revealed the names of 48 candidates, with the remaining candidates to be disclosed soon.



According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Election Commission (EC) has scheduled November 29 as the polling day, with nominations set for November 15 and early voting on November 25. The announcement by PPRS reflects the party’s strategic decision to expand its influence and presence across the state.



The list of candidates announced today includes prominent figures such as Abdul Hasil Ismail for N01 Banggi, Mohd Kassim Adok for N02 Bengkoka, and Ashkar Yahya for N03 Pitas. Other notable candidates include Ariffin Amja for N06 Bandau and Dr. Jos George Saidi for N08 Pintasan, among others.



The upcoming elections are anticipated to be highly competitive, with PPRS positioning itself as a formidable contender across all constituencies. The party’s comprehensive candidate lineup underscores its commitment to representing the diverse interests of the Sabah populace.
