Marcos Jr. enjoined Filipinos on Maundy Thursday to use this hallowed time to be of service to others.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;As we reflect on the love and selflessness of Jesus Christ, may we also find ways to serve others with the same compassion and grace, spreading love and understanding in our communities,&#8217; Marcos said in a social media post.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We pray for a safe and meaningful Holy Week for all,&#8217; he added.<\/p>\n<p>READ: PBBM&#8217;s Holy Week message: Spread kindness, selflessness<\/p>\n<p>Catholic devotees around the world observe the Holy Week or Semana Santa, a week-long commemoration of the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Malaca\u00f1ang has declared March 28 and 29, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, as regular holidays.
