Travel across the Malaysia-Singapore frontier, once one of the world’s busiest, resumed on Monday after more than a year and a half of coronavirus curbs. “It is timely for us to reopen our borders progressively and safely,” Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said during a press conference with his Malaysian counterpart, Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
