Sembilan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>SEREMBAN, Aug 8 (Bernama) &#8212; The Upper Secondary Vocational Programme (PVMA) needs to be expanded in Negeri Sembiland to assist Form Three students who fall behind in their lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Negeri Sembilan state education department deputy director (planning and management) Mohamad Zaidi Ishak said currently only 29 vocational schools offered PVMA and four schools offered aesthetics in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Our concept is no student left behind\u2026.where those who excel academically will directly enter the academic field\u2026.less successful students also need support, we will help them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;By expanding PVMA to all schools we will be able to attract them to attend school\u2026.if there are grants or allocation, we will increase from 29 to more schools\u2026.the target is to ensure no student is left behind after completing their Penilaian Tingkatan Tiga (PT3),\u201d he told reporters after officiating the Aesthetic Career Carnival and Strategic Partner Collaboration Certificate signing ceremony here today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also said the state education department could increase the number of students in the aesthetic field if it is in high demand by students, which is now currently being limited to 25 students only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the four schools are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Puteri, SMK Tunku Ampuan Najihah, SMK Taman Tuanku Jaafar and SMK Tunku Kurshiah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;What\u2019s important in the current career market is every student must have skills, not only on an academic level but skills that can help them compete in the job market,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: BERNAMA News Agency<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SEREMBAN, Aug 8 (Bernama) &#8212; The Upper Secondary Vocational Programme (PVMA) needs to be expanded in Negeri Sembiland to assist Form Three students who fall behind in their lessons.
