MALAYSIA: LATIN AMERICAN BUSINESS DAY TO BE LAUNCHED ON AUG 1

KUALA LUMPUR– The Group of Latin American and Caribbean Embassies in Malaysia (GRULAC), spearheaded by the Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) and organised by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) will launch Latin American Business Day on Aug 1.

A statement said a press conference will be held at the Perdana Hall, Level 1, Menara MITI, Jalan Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Kuala Lumpur on Aug 1 at 11 a.m to launch the event.

The event is aimed at strengthening trade and investment between Malaysian and Latin America and will be attended by Mustapa Mohamed, Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry and the Ambassadors from the Embassies of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Among the sectors to be highlighted at the event include aerospace, automotive, electrical & electronics, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
