300 co-operatives will use BA100 next month

SHAH ALAMAngkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Bhd (Angkasa) has identified about 300 cooperatives that will use the Basic Necessities Project (BA100) system in their operation, from early next month.

Angkasa president, Datuk Abdul Fattah Abdullah said the Angkasa-built system would be implemented in stages to smoothen the marketing and distribution of goods, especially involving basic necessities such as cooking oil and sugar.

”The BA100 system will be launched early next May, whereby in the starting stage, 300 cooperatives in the Klang Valley have given us their consent to use this system before we expand it further to the other cooperatives.
