30 Houses Ravaged by Fire in Johor Water Village

Johor bahru: A total of 30 houses were destroyed in a fire at a water village near Jalan Dedaru 11, Kampung Teluk Jawa here today. Pasir Gudang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) chief Firdaus Ahmad reported that the department received an emergency call at 7.04 am, which led to the deployment of 28 personnel in three engines to the scene.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the fire affected temporary structures constructed with wooden walls, zinc roofing, and plank flooring. Chief Firdaus Ahmad stated that the fire consumed about 90 percent of the 30 houses and also caused damage to two boats, a car, and six motorcycles.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. The rapid response of the fire and rescue team helped to prevent further damage and potential injuries to the residents of the water village.
