Shah alam: Agrobank, in collaboration with Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI Selangor), has unveiled the Selangor Ramadan Bazaar Programme 2026, which will be held at 16 locations across 12 local authorities within the state.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, this marks the second year of collaboration between Agrobank and MBI Selangor under the Selangor Digital Platform (PLATS) initiative. The program aims to empower entrepreneurs based in Selangor by promoting a digital approach to their operations. As part of this collaboration, Agrobank is launching a special 'Scan, Pay and Win' campaign for its customers, which will run from February 15 to June 15, 2026.
Datuk Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin, the group chief executive officer of Agrobank, emphasized the collaboration's goal of encouraging cashless transactions. The campaign offers customers the opportunity to win prizes such as a Honda ADV160 motorcycle, an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and RM300 in cash through the use of cashless payment methods like DuitNow QR, AGRO-i Debit Card, or FPX, thereby facilitating a faster and more convenient transaction process.
Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah, who also serves as the Group President, urged customers to utilize Agrobank's cashless payment options while shopping at the Ramadan bazaars or preparing for Hari Raya Aidilfitri. He highlighted that participating in the campaign allows customers to experience quicker and safer transactions, along with the possibility of winning various prizes.
He further stated that Agrobank's involvement in the Selangor Ramadan Bazaar 2026 Programme, coupled with its cashless campaign, underscores its commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and enhancing customer convenience through digital advancement. This initiative not only aims to improve the customer experience at Ramadan bazaars but also aligns with the state government's vision of fostering a digital-based ecosystem in Selangor, supporting the broader shift towards an inclusive and efficient digital economy.
