Asialink Targets PHP17 Billion Loan Disbursement by 2025

Manila: With flexible and accessible financial offerings, an official from Asialink Finance Corporation expresses optimism about achieving their PHP17 billion loan disbursement target as more entrepreneurs take advantage of the expanding economy.

According to Philippines News Agency, Asialink Finance Corporation has already disbursed PHP10.7 billion in loans as of August 2025, and they anticipate steady growth in the remaining months of the year. Asialink’s president and CEO, Samuel Cari±o, shared this information, highlighting the company’s focus on supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through various loan offerings, including collateral and auto loans.

In a strategic move last July, Asialink launched the WAIS Loan program, which aims to extend up to PHP20 million to women entrepreneurs. This initiative has garnered support from both the Asian Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation, indicating a strong backing for the program’s objectives.

Further strengthening their outreach, Asialink announced on September 24 the appointment of singer-actress Jolina Magdangal as the brand ambassador for their WAIS Loan program. Cari±o emphasized that having Magdangal as the ambassador is intended to connect with more women entrepreneurs in a relatable and inspiring manner. He noted that Magdangal exemplifies values such as resilience, hard work, and the ability to balance family and career-qualities that resonate with many Filipinas who aim to grow their businesses.
