Lazada’s LazLook Raya Collection showcases 10 local brands

KUALA LUMPUR, March 9 (Bernama) — Lazada Malaysia (Lazada) has unveiled their exclusive LazLook Raya Collection with over 250,000 Raya fashion assortments to celebrate local brands and enchantment ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Its chief executive officer Alan Chan said the launch was a gateway for fashion enthusiasts to find their unique style as well as inspirations from trending items and brands of Muslim wear.

Alan noted that the exclusive Raya 2023 collection showcases items from 10 local brands including Naelofar, Petit Moi, Rico Rinaldi, Poplook, Cynthia Tang, Zucca, Baju Somerset, Zoe Arissa, Gene Martino and TATO Shop.

The collection offers assortments from baju kurung and baju kurung Kedah in floral designs to kebaya and abaya in bold mode designs, a wide selection of hijab in all colours and styles as well as baju Melayu and sampin songket.

“During the Lazada 3.3 Sale campaign, we sold more than five times all fashion items in the first 10 minutes compared to a regular day in the first five minutes, which reflects that Malaysians are coming to this platform to shop,” he told media after the launch of the exclusive LazLook Raya Collection at CommonKL @ BBPark, recently.

The event was live streamed on LazLive with over 50 models strutting down the busy street of Bukit Bintang, turning it into a 500-metre-long fashion runway before making their final stop at CommonKL @ BBPark.

Alan believed that Lazada is appreciated in the marketplace as it is known for its fast and free shipping where consumers can obtain free shipping vouchers and rewards as well as savings through their ‘Everyday Cashback’.

“In the upcoming month, we will continue growing our fashion and beauty categories by introducing more brands and new offerings with various payment services, including LazPayLater,” he added.

According to Alan, e-commerce is the preferred platform to search for fashion items as 53 per cent of consumers use it to find the right product, with prices (74 per cent), discount offers (69 per cent) and reviews (47 per cent) being key considerations for purchases.
