Negeri Sembilan records highest infectivity rate – Health DG

The COVID-19 infectivity rate (Rt) according to daily cases nationwide has dropped to 0.93 as of today, compared to 0.94 yesterday, with Negeri Sembilan recording the highest Rt at 1.03.

According to data shared by Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on his Facebook page tonight, Labuan and Sabah recorded the next highest Rt at 1.02, followed by Sarawak (1.00).

Kelantan had the lowest Rt at 0.75.

The readings for other states are Kuala Lumpur (0.97); Johor and Selangor (0.95); Putrajaya (0.91); Melaka (0.90); Kedah (0.87); Perak (0.84); Perlis (0.83); Penang (0.82); Pahang (0.79); and Terengganu (0.76).

The Rt value refers to the rate of COVID-19 infectivity, namely how many people can be infected by one positive case.
