P55-M School Infrastructure Projects in Agusan Sur Progressing Smoothly

Bunawan: The management of Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) in Bunawan has confirmed that all current and ongoing infrastructure projects at the institution are progressing smoothly. ASSCAT President D. Joy Capistrano, along with other top officials, visited the construction sites of two significant school facilities on Monday.

According to Philippines News Agency, the projects involve the construction of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) building, valued at PHP37 million, and the Graduate School building, with a budget of PHP18.45 million. In the company of in-house engineers from the Project Management Unit, the top management conducted a thorough assessment of the projects to ensure they meet the projected timeline and required standards.

The CTE building is scheduled for completion in May 2026 and will feature modern classrooms, faculty rooms, and offices designed to foster a student-centered and functional learning environment. Meanwhile, the Graduate Studies building will provide upgraded spaces to support advanced academic work and research.

The inspection emphasized ASSCAT’s dedication to transparency and accountability in utilizing public funds, as well as its commitment to developing facilities that cater to the evolving needs of its students and faculty.
