PKR Candidates Pledge Loyalty with RM10 Million Bond in Sabah Election


Kota kinabalu: All 10 PKR candidates selected to contest in the upcoming Sabah 17th state election have signed loyalty pledges, as announced by PKR secretary-general Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh. These pledges are reinforced by RM10 million bonds to ensure the candidates maintain their allegiance to the party.



According to BERNAMA News Agency, the candidates come from a range of backgrounds including deputy ministers, civil servants, and professionals. The loyalty pledges signify a commitment to the party, the voters, and the constituencies they represent. “May the candidates have 100 per cent commitment to the party, voters and constituencies they represent to fulfill the duties entrusted to them till they succeed in forming a new state government,” Fuziah expressed in a statement.



Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, also serving as Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman and PKR president, introduced the 10 candidates at an event. He announced that PH would contest 23 out of the 73 state seats in the Sabah election under the PH logo, reinforcing the coalition’s strategy for the upcoming election.
