Kota kinabalu: The year 2026 is poised to usher in a new chapter for Sabah as the state prepares to advance with determination and unity, according to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor. The state government is ready to implement the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 development plan, a comprehensive initiative designed to ensure sustained prosperity and a brighter future for the state.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Chief Minister Hajiji emphasized that 2025 was a year of solid development and progress, thanks to the successful implementation of the SMJ 1.0 roadmap. He highlighted that the state government intends to continue this trajectory with SMJ 2.0, focusing on unity, prosperity, and inclusive development to ensure that progress is equitably shared among all Sabahans.
