Selangor: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, together with Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, has extended Chinese New Year greetings to all those celebrating the occasion. In a message shared on the Selangor Royal Office Facebook page, Sultan Sharafuddin emphasized the importance of using celebrations to foster goodwill and mutual respect among diverse communities.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sultan Sharafuddin highlighted the significance of unity that has been established over the years, cautioning against divisive rhetoric. He reminded the citizens that the nation belongs to everyone and credited the current state of harmony to the tolerance and wisdom of previous generations.
