CYBERJAYA: A total of seven syllabus modules aimed at rehabilitating the faith of GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISB) followers are currently being developed by a special committee, which is now in its final stages, according to Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar. The modules are designed to address various aspects of faith and personal development, including adult faith, children’s faith, spirituality and identity, Al-Quran and Fardhu Ain (KAFA) education, youth development, leadership in humanity, and psychospiritual therapy.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Na’im expressed his intention to hold a special briefing once the syllabus is ready to announce the newly developed modules. Recently, he highlighted that the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) and the special rehabilitation committee have been actively working on developing appropriate syllabuses for GISB followers, including children.

nth celebration, Mohd Na’im urged all state Islamic councils to adopt creative methods to encourage more Muslims to fulfill their zakat obligations. He emphasized the importance of utilizing innovation and new technology to create platforms that would attract more Muslims to pay zakat.
The event served as a platform to inform the public about the significance of zakat as a religious duty. Mohd Na’im highlighted the vital role of zakat in narrowing the gap between the wealthy and the underprivileged, addressing social issues, and alleviating the financial burdens of those in need. He further underscored the importance of zakat in sustaining the economy, empowering growth, creating job opportunities, and stimulating economic development.
