Kuala lumpur: Proposals for a single Government Super Apps, the latest achievements of the Rakan Muda programme, and tax refunds are among the topics set to be discussed at today's Dewan Rakyat session.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Order Paper on Parliament's official website outlines that Tan Hong Pin (PH-Bakri) will question the Digital Minister during Question Time regarding the government's plans to create a single app to consolidate all government services, including the implementation timeline and total expenditure.
In the same session, Rushdan Rusmi (PN-Padang Besar) is set to inquire about the Rakan Muda 2025 programme, seeking updates from the Youth and Sports Minister on its impact on youth and plans for enhancing the programme's focus on character and skills development.
Additionally, Jimmy Puah Wee Tse (PH-Tebrau) will request the Finance Minister to provide details about the amount of excess tax refunded so far, the outstanding balance, and the government's timeline for completing all repayments.
Meanwhile, during the oral question-and-answer session, Kamal Ashaari (PN-Kuala Krau) will address the Agriculture and Food Security Minister concerning the government's strategy to manage a 25 percent increase in livestock feed costs caused by imported raw materials and the potential to optimise palm kernel feed usage to stabilise prices.
Suhaizan Kaiat (PH-Pulai) is expected to ask the Digital Minister how the Artificial Intelligence Governance Bill will tackle copyright and intellectual property issues arising from AI systems trained on copyrighted data, including text, images, audio, and video.
The session will also feature debates on the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System Link Bill 2026 and the Finance Minister's second reading of the Capitation Grant Bill 2026.
