Zhuzhou: The 4th International Summit on the Large-scale Application of Beidou, known as the Beidou Summit, commenced in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, showcasing a range of new applications and business formats that highlight the expanding influence of the Beidou system. The event marked a significant transition for Beidou from being a technology in the sky to a part of everyday life, and from a national application to a global industry.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the summit featured two major exhibition areas, both indoor and outdoor, where more than 1,000 application demonstration scenarios were presented. During the summit, 33 new products, technologies, and applications related to Beidou were released for the first time. The event underscored Beidou’s rapid evolution from a national technological achievement to an integral part of global industry expansion.

The summit also saw the release of the “Blue Book on the Development of the Beidou Industry (2025)”, which highlights the comprehensive industrial chain that Beidou has developed, encompassing all levels from upper to lower reaches. In 2024, the Beidou industry’s total output value in China reached 575.8 billion yuan, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 7.39%.
