Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting several areas in Kedah, Perak, and Selangor until 1 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the statement released at 10.20 am identifies Langkawi in Kedah, and the districts of Kerian, Larut, Matang, Selama, Manjung, Bagan Datuk, and Hilir Perak in Perak as areas expected to be impacted.

In Selangor, the districts of Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, and Klang are also anticipated to experience similar weather conditions. The public is advised to remain vigilant as such weather may lead to flash floods and temporary damage in the affected regions.
