Sabah Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin today attended a gathering with federal civil servants here in conjunction with Aidilfitri.

Juhar, wearing a yellow batik shirt, arrived at the Sabah Federal Government Administrative Complex multipurpose hall at about 10.30 am. He was accompanied by Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah, Sarawak Affairs and Special Functions) Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali and directors of federal government departments were also present at the get-together attended by over 2,000 guests.

A total of 63 stalls served various dishes, including mango kerabu, satay, cendol and lemang, prepared by each department.

Each stall was adorned with interesting decorations while Hari Raya songs delivered by the Royal Malaysian Navy Eastern Fleet in Teluk Sepanggar added to the festive cheer.
