Perak: Perak have officially secured former national player Wan Zack Haikal Wan Noor to strengthen the squad for this season's MFL Challenge Cup and A1 Semi-Pro League campaigns. Perak Football Association (PAFA) president Datuk Azhar Jamaluddin said Wan Zack Haikal's presence is expected to add variety and creativity to the midfield and attacking line, while further bolstering the team's overall strength for the challenges ahead this season.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Azhar Jamaluddin expressed enthusiasm over the acquisition, highlighting the benefits Wan Zack Haikal brings to the team. He stated that the entire Perak football fraternity is thrilled to welcome Wan Zack as Perak's new signing during the second transfer window, which is open until February 1. Wan Zack's extensive experience at the highest level is anticipated to positively influence the team on the pitch and provide mentorship and inspiration to Perak's younger players.

For the record, Wan Zack Haikal, 34, previously donned 'The Bos Gaurus' jersey from 2022 to 2025 before deciding to continue his career with Penang FC on June 9, 2025.
