Penang: Penang FC's hopes of securing their first win in the Super League this season were dashed when they fell 1-0 to Kelantan The Real Warriors (TRW) at their home venue - the City Stadium - here tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Kelantan TRW have skipper Ifedayo Olusegun Patrick Omosuyi to thank for when he slotted home the only goal of the match in the 28th minute. Hosts Penang FC were also reduced to 10 men when defender Mohammad Khairul Akmal Rokisham was shown the red card in the 37th minute for elbowing Sean Selvaraj.

The win sees Kelantan TRW occupy fifth spot in the standings with five points, while Penang languish in 11th spot with just one point after four matches.
