300 Join “Pendakian Semarak Merdeka” At Bukit Besar

Kuala terengganu: A total of 300 participants comprising uniformed personnel, government agency staff, and media practitioners took part in the Pendakian Semarak Merdeka organised by the Terengganu Perdana Media Club (METRA) at Bukit Besar here.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, METRA president Mohd Zaid Mohd Noor stated that the inaugural event brought together personnel from various agencies, including the Terengganu Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM), Road Transport Department (JPJ), Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Terengganu Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), Terengganu Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM), and Malaysia Civil Defence Force (APM).

He mentioned that the event was organised to express love for the country while adding to the vibrancy of the National Month celebration in Terengganu. "As media practitioners, it is the club's responsibility to disseminate messages of patriotism through various communication platforms," Mohd Zaid remarked after the event at Bukit Besar.

Furthermore, Mohd Zaid added that aside from enlivening the National Month celebration, the event also served as a platform to strengthen inter-agency ties while promoting a healthy lifestyle infused with patriotic values.
