4 state-of-the-art computer labs to boost learning in Angeles schools


ANGELES: The Angeles City government on Tuesday opened state of the art computer laboratories in four public schools, which are now available for students’ use and expected to boost their learning.

City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr., along with 1st district Rep. Carmelo Lazatin II and other city officials, led the ribbon cutting ceremony of two such facilities at the Angeles City National Trade School and the Angeles City National High School.

Two more computer laboratories are set to open Wednesday at Northville 15 Integrated School and Angeles City Senior High School.

The new four state-of-the-art computer laboratories, funded by the city government, are part of the ICT (information communication technology) Modernization Program of Mayor Lazatin, one of his campaign promises, underscoring the importance of technology in providing quality education.

Each laboratory is equipped with 40 computers and complete with computer tables, chairs, printers, air conditioning units, smart televisions, and fiber optics i
nternet connection.
