Adam Adli Advocates for Young Candidates in Melaka State Election

Melaka:The young candidates introduced by Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the 16th Melaka State Election are being urged to gain leadership experience and demonstrate their capability to earn voter trust across various age demographics.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Melaka PKR State Leadership Council acting chairman Adam Adli Abd Halim emphasized the importance of young candidates being assessed fairly, especially since some are first-time contenders with different experiences and communication styles compared to veteran candidates.

Adam Adli highlighted that the selection of young candidates is based not only on party positions but also considers representation across race, gender, and age within the electorate. He stressed the need for these candidates to prove their ability to connect with both younger and older generations to secure community support.

Adly Zahari, Melaka PH chairman, echoed the sentiment that age should not be the primary criterion for evaluating a candidate's capability. Instead, understanding local issues and providing solutions should be prioritized. Early voting for the Melaka State Election is scheduled for November 10, with the polling day set for November 14.
