Segambut: Segambut Bersatu Division deputy chief Adam Radlan Adam Muhammad will record a statement with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in connection with its investigation into the MEX II Highway project. MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki stated that Adam Radlan, who is believed to be in the United Kingdom, has given his assurance that he will return to Malaysia and cooperate fully with the investigation.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Adam Radlan's lawyer, Tan Sri Shafie Abdullah, has submitted a letter confirming his willingness to cooperate. Azam Baki conveyed this information to reporters after the MACC-UiTM Inspirasi 2025: Hari Integriti dan Kepimpinan programme at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Puncak Alam. During the event, Azam, who is also a UiTM Adjunct Professor, delivered a lecture titled Integrity as the Core of Leadership, Trustworthiness as the Foundation of Success. UiTM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Shahrin Sahib Sahibuddin was also in attendance.
MACC had been actively tracing Adam Radlan, listing his last known address as A16-2 Sunway Pallazio, Jalan Sri Hartamas 3, Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur, to assist in the investigation of the MEX II Highway project. This project spans from the Putrajaya Interchange to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
Previously, Adam Radlan faced 12 charges, including five for corruption and seven for money laundering, linked to the Jana Wibawa project. He was later acquitted and discharged of all charges after paying a RM4.1 million compound, subsequent to MACC's acceptance of his representation.
