Kuala Lumpur:The Public Service Department (JPA) is awaiting the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) decision concerning an incident involving Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency director-general Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain at Kuala Lumpur International Airport's Terminal 1.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Public Service Department director-general Tan Sri Dr Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz stated that the Attorney-General, Tan Sri Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar, will determine if there is a case for further action based on the investigation's findings submitted to the AGC.
The investigation has concluded and the findings were handed over to the AGC. Wan Ahmad Dahlan mentioned that any further action would depend on the Attorney-General's decision and that the JPA cannot comment further as the case has been thoroughly investigated by the police.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail revealed that the investigation was conducted by the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department under Section 323 of the Penal Code, which addresses the offence of voluntarily causing hurt.
