Ahmad Zahid Expresses Condolence To Family Of Seriwani Sabtu

Putrajaya: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has extended his condolences to the family of Seriwani Sabtu, a special functions officer with the Rural and Regional Development Ministry, who died this morning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in a Facebook post, Ahmad Zahid described the late Seriwani, who also served as Setiawangsa UMNO Women's chief, as a highly committed and dedicated officer in fulfilling her responsibilities.

Ahmad Zahid expressed his sorrow, stating, "This morning, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of an officer. the late Seriwani Sabtu, who returned to her Creator at Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Universiti Putra Malaysia, at around 8 am. It is a significant loss for all of us."

He further reflected on his recent visit, sharing, "During my visit last Saturday, I witnessed her remarkable strength and perseverance in battling her illness. However, Allah SWT loves her more. I pray that Allah grants her His mercy, forgiveness and love, and may He place her among the righteous who enter paradise."

Ahmad Zahid, who is also UMNO president, expressed hope that the family of the late Seriwani would remain patient and strong during this difficult time.
