Perak: The Perak government has launched SUK Perak, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, on three of its busiest portals to enhance the speed and efficiency of government services. State Communications, Multimedia and Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Committee chairman Mohd Azlan Helmi stated that the chatbot will initially be available on the ePenghulu portal, the state higher education loan system, and the Perak Museum Board's official portal.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the chatbot is designed to allow citizens to access information faster and more accurately, while also being user-friendly. This initiative aims to help public servants improve productivity through streamlined services, as mentioned by Mohd Azlan during the ICT Day: AI for All - Catalyst for Perak Sejahtera 2030 programme. The event was also attended by Deputy State Secretary (Management) Datuk Nor Sham Rahman and Perak Digital chief executive officer Mohamad Suhaimi Mohamad Tahir.

Azlan further explained that SUK Perak will be gradually implemented across all state departments and agencies. There will be ongoing training for officials and technical staff to enhance their understanding and skills in AI technology. He emphasized that this initiative highlights the state government's commitment to using AI as a key driver in achieving the Perak Sejahtera 2030 vision, aiming to build a competitive society prepared for the digital future.
