AI-Media To Showcase Multilingual AI Advances At IBC2026

Amsterdam: AI-Media, a leader in artificial intelligence (AI)-powered language and accessibility solutions, will showcase its latest advances in multilingual AI at IBC2026 from Sept 11 to 14 at RAI Amsterdam. The company will display the complete LEXI Suite, two new LEXI Encoders, LEXI Direct, and an expanding ecosystem of technology integrations, alongside innovations in development that hint at new ways audiences can experience multilingual content.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, AI-Media Chief Executive Officer, Tony Abrahams, emphasized the growing importance of language in the media technology stack as broadcasters aim to reach an increasingly global and multilingual audience. Abrahams stated, "Whether customers connect through our encoders, directly to LEXI, or through the technology platforms they already use, we are making it easier to deploy multilingual capabilities at scale."

The LEXI Suite includes LEXI Text for real-time AI captioning, LEXI Translate for multilingual captions, LEXI Voice for AI-powered multilingual voice, LEXI AD for audio description, and LEXI Recorded for captioning, translation, and localization of recorded content. AI-Media's new LEXI Text Encoder and LEXI Voice Encoder, making their European debut at IBC2026, are designed to bring AI-powered language capabilities into professional broadcast environments.

Beyond AI-Media's hardware, LEXI Direct offers direct, programmatic access to LEXI, allowing its AI-powered language capabilities to be integrated into third-party platforms, applications, and workflows. AI-Media is also expanding its European infrastructure, with EU-based data processing for LEXI expected to be available by January 2027. This expansion will provide European customers with more choices regarding data processing locations and support organizations with data sovereignty and regional data residency requirements.

IBC visitors will also have the opportunity to preview innovations currently in development, including LEXI Link, a proof of concept that delivers live captions, translations, and multilingual AI-generated audio directly to viewers' devices. The company's Head of Technical Sales - APAC, Adrian Britton, will present 'LEXI Link: Personalising Live Sports with Real-Time Captions and Translation' on Sept 13.
