AKSB PROVIDES 388 STATIC WATER TANKS TANKS FOR AIDILFITRI

Air Kelantan Sdn Bhd (AKSB) is placing a total of 388 static tanks at various locations statewide as a contingency measure during the Aidilfitri celebration.

AKSB general manager Dr Nazmi Ghazali Azmi said that each tank, which can fill up to between 500 and 2000 gallons of water, will be placed in areas with low water pressure and frequently affected by water supply disruptions.

He said the company is also providing 46 water tanker lorries to send water supply to areas in Kota Bharu Selatan, Kota Bharu Timur, Tumpat, Pasir Mas and Bachok, as well as areas affected by water supply disruption.

“This preparation is made as AKSB expects an increase in the use of treated water supply during the Aidilfitri holiday, with the return of the Kelantan people staying in other states,” he said in a statement here today.

According to Nazmi, AKSB is also prepared with the necessary vehicles to carry out emergency maintenance work in the event of a leaked pipe during the festive season.

We have also requested external contractors to be on standby for any emergency work, he said.

Nazmi advised consumers to use water sparingly and to lodge reports about any incident of leaked or burst pipes.

Besides that, AKSB will also accept any complaints from consumers through the Customer Affairs Unit (PINTAS) during the festive period at 15777.

Consumers can also send their complaints through WhatsApp to 019-5755777 or email to pintas@airkelantan.com.my or download the MyAKSB application via Google Play Store and App Store.
