Al-Sultan Abdullah Launches Pahang Recreation Council

Kuala lipis: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, today graced the launch of the Pahang Recreation Council (MRP) at Dataran Orang Kaya Haji in Kuala Lipis.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, a post on the Pahang Royal Family's Facebook page highlighted that Al-Sultan Abdullah emphasized the role of MRP in promoting, developing, and preserving the state's natural treasures. The council is set to act as the eyes and ears of the authorities to ensure these treasures are protected for future generations.

Al-Sultan Abdullah noted his long-standing interest in the activities of recreation enthusiasts, who have been active for more than a decade. He expressed that it is now time for their knowledge and experience to be shared, enhancing facilities and tourism products for recreational sports in Pahang.

The post further mentioned that upon arrival, Al-Sultan Abdullah was received by Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail and State Communications and Multimedia, Youth, Sports and Non-Governmental Organisations Committee chairman Fadzli Mohamad Kamal.

His Royal Highness also expressed hope that the formation of MRP would foster greater environmental awareness among Pahang's youth. He stressed the importance of understanding the value of the state's natural heritage, which is a legacy and a trust to be handed down to the younger generation, including his own children.
