Al-Sultan Abdullah, Tunku Azizah Extend Aidiladha Greetings to Pahang Muslims

Kuala Lumpur: Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al Mustafa Billah Shah and Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah have extended Hari Raya Aidiladha greetings to all Muslims, particularly those in Pahang. In a Facebook post today, Their Royal Highnesses described Aidiladha as a day for Muslims to reflect on the essence of sacrifice, sincerity, and devotion to Allah SWT.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the royal couple emphasized the significance of the spirit of sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim AS and his son Prophet Ismail AS, encouraging it to serve as a guide in facing challenges and prioritizing the well-being of the ummah. They urged the people to embrace the wisdom of Aidiladha by strengthening unity, increasing acts of worship, and continuously praying for the state and nation to be blessed with peace and prosperity.

Their Royal Highnesses also prayed for the qurban (sacrificial) rituals to be accepted by Allah SWT, fostering unity and bringing blessings within society. They expressed hope that the celebration would be observed with gratitude, harmony, and compassion among humanity.

Meanwhile, Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, in his Facebook post, called on Muslims to reflect on the significance of Prophet Ibrahim AS's sacrifice and Prophet Ismail AS's patience. He expressed hope that their spirit of devotion and sincerity would guide lives, with the qurban rituals being accepted by Allah SWT, bringing inner peace and drawing believers closer to Him. Wan Rosdy also wished for all sacrifices, including time, energy, or wealth, to be rewarded by Allah SWT with multiple blessings.
