Alamanda and Mesra Mall Launch Merdeka Campaigns with Exclusive Rewards

Putrajaya: Alamanda Shopping Centre here and Mesra Mall in Kemaman are joining the nation in celebrating Malaysia's 68th Independence Day this year with vibrant Merdeka campaigns featuring festive decorations, exclusive rewards, and community-focused activities.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at Alamanda Shopping Centre, the Merdeka campaign runs until September 1, with the mall adorned in Jalur Gemilang flags to create a patriotic atmosphere for shoppers. "Visitors who spend RM500 and above in two receipts at any specialty stores will receive a limited-edition 68th Merdeka T-shirt," said chief executive officer of Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, Francis Tan, in a statement today.

Alamanda Shopping Centre is owned by Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd and managed by Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, while Mesra Mall was developed by Metro Kemasik Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd. Tan mentioned that those spending RM1,500 and above in two receipts at specialty stores will be entitled to the limited-edition T-shirt along with a RM50 Alamanda Shopping e-Voucher.

Mesra Mall is also hosting its Merdeka campaign until September 8, featuring patriotic photo setups and colourful displays of the Jalur Gemilang. The first 500 shoppers who spend RM350 and above in two receipts at specialty stores can redeem a limited-edition Mesra Merdeka 2025 T-shirt. On August 31, the first 100 shoppers at the Concierge Counter at 2 pm will also receive a Malaysia Flag Car Sticker.

"As we celebrate Malaysia's 68th anniversary of independence, we are proud to share the Merdeka spirit with our shoppers at Alamanda Shopping Centre and Mesra Mall," Tan said. The campaigns are designed to reward the malls' loyal customers and bring families together in celebration of the nation's heritage and unity, he added, inviting everyone to join in commemorating this significant milestone and to enjoy the special redemptions and activities planned.
