Alert-Level Continuous Rain Warning Issued for Labuan and Sabah

Labuan: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert-level continuous rain warning for Labuan and several areas in Sabah, effective from tomorrow until November 5.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected areas in Sabah include the Interior (Sipitang, Kuala Penyu, and Beaufort), West Coast (Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, and Kota Belud), and Kudat.

The department has also announced a thunderstorm warning for Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak, valid until 7 pm today. Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are anticipated in Pasir Mas, Jeli, and Tanah Merah in Kelantan; Dungun and Kemaman in Terengganu; and Kuantan, Bera, Pekan, and Rompin in Pahang.

In Negeri Sembilan, the warning covers Kuala Pilah, Jempol, and Tampin, while Jasin in Melaka is expected to be affected. In Johor, areas including Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, and Mersing are under the warning.

Additionally, in Sarawak, the affected areas are Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song and Kapit), Bintulu, and Limbang, as well as the Interior (Sipitang) in Sabah.
