Kuala lumpur: Amanah Raya Berhad (AmanahRaya) has partnered with Takaful Ikhlas Family Berhad (Takaful IKHLAS) to introduce the Pewarisan Bertakaful plan, aimed at providing Malaysians with a comprehensive solution for effective estate planning.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the plan capitalizes on the combined expertise of both institutions in trust management and takaful protection, offering estate administration fee financing protection up to RM54,000. AmanahRaya Group managing director Ahmad Feizal Sulaiman Khan emphasized the significance of this partnership, highlighting Takaful Ikhlas' proven Syariah-compliant financial protection capabilities in Malaysia.
Ahmad Feizal expressed optimism that the plan would motivate more Malaysians to embark on their estate planning journey. He noted AmanahRaya's century-long commitment to assisting individuals in estate planning, while acknowledging that financial constraints have hindered some heirs from completing the estate administration process.
'In view of this, we introduced the Pewarisan Bertakaful plan as a proactive step to help address these challenges and ensure that the estate administration process can be carried out more smoothly and efficiently,' he stated.
Meanwhile, Takaful IKHLAS president and CEO Wan Ahmad Najib Wan Ahmad Lotfi remarked that the strategic partnership aligns with the company's objective of expanding access to and reinforcing the reach of takaful protection. He also mentioned the collaboration's reflection of the company's commitment to implementing the Value-Based Intermediation for Takaful (VBIT) initiative for Malaysians' benefit.
'Through the Pewarisan Bertakaful plan, participants can benefit from AmanahRaya's expertise in estate services as well as the group takaful protection offered by Takaful IKHLAS. With affordable contributions starting from RM10 per month, participants can not only protect themselves and their heirs from the financial burden of estate management costs but also receive compensation in the event of natural or accidental death,' he said.
The plan is available for subscription online or at any AmanahRaya branch nationwide, with no medical check-up required.
