Amanahraya Opens New Office For Batu Pahat Branch To Enhance Service Delivery

Batu Pahat: The opening of Amanah Raya Berhad's (AmanahRaya) new premises for its Batu Pahat branch marks an effort to improve service quality in Johor by offering a more comfortable and efficient office setting, reflecting its concern for community needs.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, AmanahRaya Group managing director Ahmad Feizal Sulaiman Khan stated that the company's 19th branch began operating at Arked MARA Batu Pahat in 2018, before relocating to its new site on Jalan Rahmat in September last year. The branch, the third in Johor after Johor Bahru, which opened in 1966, and Muar in 1980, has successfully managed more than 400 inheritance and trust files with an estimated value exceeding RM14 million.

Ahmad Feizal emphasized AmanahRaya's commitment to becoming the leading provider of inheritance services in Malaysia, aiming to deliver high-quality services while ensuring a satisfactory customer experience. The relocation to more comfortable premises is due to the growing number of cases and high customer demand, as well as increased public awareness of inheritance, wills, and trust management. He shared these insights with Bernama after the opening ceremony of the new office.

The ceremony was officiated by Johor State Islamic Religious Affairs Committee chairman Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid and was also attended by Batu Pahat AmanahRaya branch head Dr. Shukor Nordin. Ahmad Feizal noted that the three AmanahRaya branches in Johor had managed more than 4,500 inheritance and trust files since their establishment in 1966, involving assets valued at more than RM500 million. AmanahRaya plans to collaborate with the state government by participating in on-the-ground programs such as the Jelajah Orang Johor (JOJ) for promotional purposes.

Additionally, Ahmad Feizal encouraged the public, especially those in areas without branch offices, to use the MyAmanahRaya application, in line with current technological developments. AmanahRaya also plans to open additional branches in Sabah and Sarawak in the near future to further enhance service delivery.
