ANGKASA committed to strengthening cooperation with MEDAC

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA) reaffirms its commitment to further strengthening cooperation with the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) and its agencies in an effort to make cooperatives a fair socio-economic distribution machinery for the people.

Its president Datuk Abdul Fattah Abdullah said ANGKASA would continue to implement various new initiatives and innovations to expand and intensify the involvement of cooperatives in the high-potential business sector.

“It is so that this movement can be a catalyst for a progressive and inclusive economy for all. ANGKASA also focuses on elevating community cooperatives because it is the basis for strengthening the socio-economy in a group,” he said in a statement today.

Earlier, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Tan Sri Noh Omar made his maiden visit to ANGKASA headquarters in Petaling Jaya.

Meanwhile, the statement said that during the visit, Noh had launched the ANGKASA Virtual Run 2021 held in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee anniversary of ANGKASA.
