Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged voters to maintain their support for Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the upcoming 16th Negeri Sembilan state election, emphasizing the importance of ongoing development initiatives for the populace's benefit.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar, who also serves as the PH chairman, highlighted in a Facebook post that the synergistic efforts between the state and Federal governments have facilitated numerous development projects. However, he noted that there is still much work to be done to ensure continued progress.
Anwar expressed his gratitude for the leadership of Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, known affectionately as Tok Min, who has governed Negeri Sembilan since 2018 with integrity and responsibility. He appealed to the residents of Negeri Sembilan to continue their trust in HARAPAN under Tok Min's leadership, cautioning against interrupting the progress achieved thus far.
He further stated that securing the mandate is crucial for the state to remain under a clean, stable administration that prioritizes the people's interests. Anwar assured that under HARAPAN's stewardship, they will strive to build a more prosperous and progressive future for Negeri Sembilan.
The state election nominations are set for Saturday, with early voting scheduled for July 28 and polling on August 1.
