Anwar Commends Street Sweeper Kavita for Raising Accomplished Children

Seremban: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has paid tribute to street sweeper M. Kavita, whose sacrifices over more than 12 years working in all weather to raise her five children touched his heart.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar expressed his admiration in a Facebook post, highlighting that Kavita's years of hard work and sacrifices had paid off, with all five of her children succeeding in their respective fields. Anwar conveyed his hope for continued blessings of strength, good health, and respect for Kavita and all street sweepers and cleaning workers, acknowledging their dedication and hard work in maintaining cleanliness and safeguarding public well-being.

Kavita's efforts were further recognized when she received a Special Award at SWCorp's Cleaning Workers' Day Appreciation ceremony. Her story gained widespread attention on social media after a heartwarming incident last month, when her four daughters surprised her at work to celebrate her 50th birthday. The daughters, dressed in their respective job uniforms, including pilot, cabin crew, and staff nurse, moved Kavita to tears of joy with their gesture.
