Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today expressed his gratitude to Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, for his concern and well-wishes.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar shared in a Facebook post that the Sultan had graciously reached out to inquire about his health and to offer prayers for his well-being. 'His Majesty kindly asked about my condition and prayed for my health and continued well-being. I am deeply grateful for His Majesty's concern and prayers,' Anwar wrote.

The Prime Minister also prayed that Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah be blessed with good health and remain under Allah's protection and grace. Last Sunday, Anwar was reported to have cancelled a scheduled working visit to Pahang at the last minute on medical advice after experiencing back pain that limited his movement.
